Cloudy, sultry.  Went to see Dr. Love.  Saw Dr. McGalliard there, who thinks he is much better.  Mr. Beckner and Mr. Turcuit came between 12 and 1 P.M.  They have had abundant rains at lower places.  We are in need of rain at Houmas.
