Clear, warm. Wrote Mr. Beirne expressing regret at decision of Supreme Court in Houmas Grant Case - but not surprised, Mr. Kenner having prepared us for it. Hope he would be able to enter all the land he needed and get it from the State in whom the decision vests "the swamp lands" at not too much expense.
