Clear, pleasant.  Mr. Saunders returned to New Orleans on the morning train.  Went to Clark and Conway in morning.  Shaving and digging and hoeing stubble and "bearing off."  Wrote Chiapella for Hawthorne Water and Villere for Whiskey (5 gal.)
