Saw managers. No further fall in river since yesterday. Visited Orange Grove levee, very bad, though safe for present.
Wrote McCall and Stavely, Philadelphia, for 2 copies of Church Annual (one for Edward). Hard steady rain all night. River rising all day and at night must have risen several inches.
