Talked with Mrs. Beirne, as I did yesterday with Mr. Beirne, as to the dispositions to be made of Nanny, Susy and Linda as to school. Both think it will be best to send them to Mrs. Lefebore's in Baltimore. That a governess won't do. Oh it is hard to be separated so far and for such a long time from all my children! But what am I to do about their education?
