Had some fever last night and this morning. Doctor called to see me. He said I might be able to deliver lecture. Forgot my lecture at home. Had to send Solomon for it on horse back - which consumed 1-1/2 hours. So did not deliver it until about 9:30 P.M. Audience waited very politely and amiably and seemed much pleased with adress, "How to Make Life Worth Living".
