Very hard rain.  Wrote Dr. Jones (New Orleans) in reply to his note about Indian remains, that I had requested Dr. Love to send him such as he did not desire for his own collection and 2 armlets and a few beads which I wished to give Willy.  Also that I had secured the Medal (1727) and would put it in his hands for investigation - but desired to retain it myself as a curiosity.  As bottles and remnants of a musket were also found, it is evident that the relicts are of no great antiquity.
