Reached Houmas landing about 10 minutes before 10 am. River still rising - half and inch last night. It is now 6 inches from last years highest water mark.
Went to Clark sugar house before dinner - and again in afternoon with Mr. Beirne, also to Orange Grove sugar house. The hot room sugar at Clark is 24 hds. and a fraction and say 240 bbls. molasses
