Cloudy - slight rain. Got a note from Mr. Bateman - "all right" at Kelly's levee. They are to build a new one today. Crossed ferry and took railroad at 8:30 am for New Orleans and got there at 12:30 pm.
Informed by the Bishop that Mr. Stuart was mistaken in the time of meeting of church council. It does not meet until next Wednesday. So left for home in "Corona" at 6:15 pm.
