March 23, 1883, Good Friday

Miss Peronneau and children and Miss Tureand went to church.  Visited railroad work on Orange Grove.  The grade is extraordinary - 6 feet on main road.
Wrote Mr. Chiapella for lager, bacon and smoked beef as Mr. and Mrs. Beirne are coming up Wednesday.  Wrote Mr. Villere for sherry - not too dry.  Wrote Mr. Beirne telling about grade of railroad on Orange Grove and suggesting his seeing Mr. Miller.  Visited Conway.
