Clear - calm - delightful.  Wrote Mr. Beirne acknowledging the arrival of carriage and mules.  Wrote Mrs. Beirne telling of safe arrival of children.
Went to corn boat.  Donaldson will get through taking out her quota this afternoon (3000 bu.) and boat will then drop down to Houmas store and the Clark will begin getting her corn tomorrow.  Went to Conway and to store.  Sent Demj. to Villere by Cannon.
