Clear - cool - delightful.  Went to store - spent some time at Orange Grove levee where Mr. Mosier the contractor is now driving piles.  Saw Mr. Lawless and his assistant and watched planting of cane for awhile.  Went to Clark and gave Mr. Tucker letter to him from Hardwick - saying the corn boat would be here by the 20th or 22nd.
Meantime the Clark, the Conway, the Donaldson and the Riverton are all borrowing Corn from Orange Grove.
Wrote Sally (in reply) a long letter.  Wrote Sneed (in reply) about Loving's account.
