Clear - cool - pleasant. Visited Donaldson and Clark and Conway. Planting cane on Donaldson and Conway and Orange Grove. Begun planting corn (for fodder) on Conway. Running stubble digger at Donaldson and Clark (on latter for a day or two). Finished planting cane on Clark on Thursday last, 22nd. Saw Mosier at Orange Grove levee - getting on pretty rapidly driving piles.
River has not risen any since Saturday.
