Cloudy, sultry. Letter from General Brent, saying Judge Duffel has made an order (in lieu of first) for Mr. R.T. Hanson to examine Houmas grant land between 42 and 80 arpents and report to him on Tuesday at 12 noon at Ashland. Replied that I acquiesced.
