Clear, cool, delightful. Went with Mr. Beirne and Mr. Martin of Mississippi Valley Railroad to look at the place for a turn out on Orange Grove where it joins Mr. Kenner's land and the place for switch and flag station at corner of mule lot near main road from Clark sugar house.
Walked in afternoon with ladies on levee.
