Cloudy, warm.  Wrote Mrs. T.J. Massie in reply, enclosing letter to Mr. Corcoran asking for a place for her in the "Louise Home". 
Went to Donaldsonville with Sally to buy some more Christmas things.
Very hard rain nearly all night.
