Rain - no end of it.  Went to Riverton in morning.

Wrote Mrs. M.A. Snowden in reply about contributing to "Confederate Home."  Wrote Richie, enclosing Mrs. Snowden's letter and asking him to contribute for me to "Confederate House" such amount as he thought to be suitable and I would at once remit the same to him.
