Clear - warm. No rain. Went to Riverton and Clark in morning. Wrote Miss E. de Peiney - 267 Royal St. in reply to her letter of application for the place of governess to the children - that I was undetermined what to do and would write her after consulting with family at the Sweet when I went in August. Wrote Miss Meta Huger enclosing Miss de P's letter and making enquires about her. Also expressing sympathy at Mrs. Nott's death.
