Cloudy - looks like rain.  Hard rain at Orange Grove yesterday afternoon.  Went to Riverton and Orange Grove in the morning.  Wrote Mr. Beirne about crops and work.
Wrote Mr. Hix in reply about Oak Ridge sale and told him if he did not wish to send his vouchers to Mr. Peebles to send them to me - care of Mr. Chiapella, 98 Canal Street, by express and I would return them.  Went to Clark in afternoon where Mr. Tucker finished laying corn and sowing peas.
