Clear - warmer.  Went to Riverton in morning.  Bagasse burner about 5 feet above ground.  Digging for foundation of chimney and centrifuges.  Mr. Smith having said burner was not constructed on proper plan, I got Mr. Turner of Clark to examine it.  He thinks it is all right - quite as good as the Clark.  So does Mr. Bateman.  Indeed both of them think the draft will be better than that of Clark. 
Wrote editor Times-Democrat sending cheque for $6 for subscription for April 27 to October 27.
