Finished cistern bottoms from New Hope and Ascension early this morning, 10 hds - 13,262 lbs. (yellow clarified).

All somewhat anxious about the river, but hope we will escape overflow here, though they seem to think that the levee "is bound to break somewhere." Sent Mr. Jne.
